Kito Europe GmbH, a traditional Japanese company with over 80 years of experience, was looking for a modern software solution that could not only incorporate the functions of SAP, but also offer a comprehensive cloud-based solution for all processes.

Initial situation of the customer



As a quality leader in lifting technology, Kito Europe GmbH previously relied on SAP. However, the need to replace the outdated server version and software infrastructure led to the search for a more flexible and comprehensive solution. Kito not only needed software that could map its existing processes, but also one that offered room for future growth and customization.

The Challenge



The challenge for Kito was to find software that not only incorporated the functions of SAP, but also offered room for expansion and customization. A cloud solution was crucial to replace the outdated server version and increase efficiency. The decision had to be well thought out, as the transition also involved internal changes, including staff and ownership changes.

The Success



After a thorough analysis phase, Kito chose Odoo as its software solution. The employees carried out direct comparisons between SAP and Odoo and agreed that Odoo's user-friendliness offered clear advantages. The implementation was carried out in phases by our BOP partner in Germany, starting with the CRM system, which covered all the required functions. Other modules such as the helpdesk and ticket system were then added.
